Varied Texture Assets of Varying Quality And Theme
A downloadable asset pack
Some various texture assets for you to use in pretty much any project.
I've not done any 3D art work in a very long time, so I thought I'd attempt to de-rust by just making whatever I felt like whenever I opened the program.
As a result, the textures are of fairly random design - whoops!
Some of them will tile in both vertical and horizontal directions whilst others may only do so in one axis.
What you get
- All textures in .PNG format
- OpenGL Format Normal maps
- For Direct3D, you'll be flipping the green channel
- Height map
- Don't expect good results for Parallax Occlusion for all of these!
- Game-ready maps
- Ambient Occlusion
- Base Color
- Metallic
- Roughness
Some groups also include:
- ID map
Stuff I used
- Plasticity for making the high-poly meshes to bake
- Blender for any other model work, such as converting meshes to other formats and co-ordinates
- Marmoset Toolbag 4 for baking all the textures and making the fancy renders you see on this page
- Affinity Photo for making the PBR maps (base color, roughness, metallic) by hand
- Material Maker for quickly getting some tiling noise textures
